Are the Spring and Fall Markets held at Lucketts store?
Nope. They are held at The Clarke County Fairgrounds in Berryville, Virginia. Address is 890 West Main Street, Berryville VA. Make sure you put the “E” in Clarke County into your Google Maps, Waze, GPS, because if not, you’ll end up in Ohio…seriously. But, the good news is Lucketts Store is open 10:00 am – 5:00 pm EVERY DAY so come on by after the market to see where the magic started!
Is there an entry fee?
Yep. Early Buyer Tickets are $45 and are good for all 3 days and must be purchased prior to the event. General Admission tickets are $15/day and can be purchased prior to the event or at the gate. Sorry, no refunds.
I have kids, do I have to pay for them to get in?
Kids 12 and under are FREE!
Are the hours the same all three days?
Nope. Friday – Early buyer hours are 8:30 am – 12:30 pm ONLY (tickets must be purchased in advance), General Admission hours are 12:30 pm – 5:00 pm. Saturday and Sunday General Admission hours are 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. *No early entrance on Saturday and Sunday even if you have an Early Buyer ticket.*
Do you provide movers?
Only to get your large purchases from the vendor to our Furniture Pick-Up tent. After that, it’s your responsibility to get your awesome finds home. So bring a truck, borrow a friend’s, rent a UHaul, make arrangements, because we don’t deliver. Everything you purchase must be taken by the end of market Sunday – but we recommend taking your items on the day they are purchased because they will be stored in a tent. Once they are purchased, they are your responsibility.
Speaking of large purchases, do I have to carry my own stuff?
Nope. We have our amazing “pink” shirt guys to help move the big stuff. All you need to do is fill out a ticket from the vendor, take it to one of our Furniture tents located all over the grounds, take your copy with you and they will take care of the rest. But make sure to have some cash in your pockets, because there is a $5 fee for each piece you need help with.
Do I have to pay to carry the small stuff too?
Nope. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Bring your wagons, your strollers, your totes, whatever it takes to get your smalls home. But in case you forget, we have our little red wagon rentals for $5 at the entrance gate.
What forms of payment do the vendors take?
Most vendors take all the things, but just in case, we have 2 ATMs on site in case you need it, ‘cuz, let’s face it, you probably will!
If it rains, will the market be canceled?
Nope, we are like the postman…neither rain, nor sleet, nor freezing rain, etc. etc. etc. We go on rain or shine and any temperature, so bring what’s necessary, whether that’s an umbrella, wellies, winter coat, scarf…whatever it takes people! Bring out your inner scout and BE PREPARED!
Can I bring my dog, cat, lizard, camel, pygmy pig, horse…
Look folks, we love our 4-legged friends as much as the next person…and full disclosure, some of us have far too many of said 4-legged friends, but the fair is not the place for them. It isn’t our rule (because as stated before most of us have them so we wish we could bring ours too) it’s the Clarke County Fairground policy. Please respect it. And PLEASE don’t leave FIDO in the car either…no bueno.
Is there handicapped parking?
Of course!
Is there usually a line?
Yep. If you want to get there early, be prepared for a line. But also be prepared to be entertained while you wait. We have made some changes so when gates drop, you will move along quickly and efficiently with warm greetings and smiles on our faces because after all, it’s the Lucketts Market!
